Abstract [en]

A brief survey is presented on the methods aimed at rigorous validation of the occurrence of complex RCS resonances for canonical structures: dielectric and perfectly conducting cylinders covered by layered media possessing circular symmetry. It is shown that the resonances are associated with singularities of the scattered field in the complex domain. © 2019 IEEE.
