Aim: To describe nurses’ and nursing students’ experiences of transferring knowledge and skills in nursing practice.Method: This paper is a descriptive literature review. The two authors used PubMed and Medline databases to search for quantitative research literature, and then selected 12 articles according to the research objectives and research problems, and made a summary.Results: Through the summary and analysis of 12 selected articles, we summarize the results into two themes: (1) Internal factors: personal ability, psychological states; (2) External factors: clinical technical assistance, environment, clinical tutor.Conclusion: This study describes the experience nurses or nursing students knowledge and skills transfer is also affected by internal and external factors in the process of knowledge transfer, nurses or nursing students will face various challenges, resulting in psychological changes Therefore, attention should be paid to the psychological state of nurses or nursing students in the process of knowledge or skill transfer, and the positive guiding role of clinical instructors in the process of knowledge or skill transfer should be emphasized.Keywords: Nursing, nurse, nursing student, transfer knowledge, transfer skills, transfer knowledge and skills.
