Abstract [en]

Aim: To describe the effects of telenursing on HbA1c and self-efficacy among patientswith diabetes.Methods: This paper is a descriptive literature review. The two authors usedPubMed database to search for quantitative research literature, and then selected 10articles according to the research objectives and research problems, and made asummary.Results: Through the summary and analysis of 10 selected articles, we conclude thattelenursing is positive in improving HbA1c and self-efficacy in diabetic patients.Conclusion: The results of this review suggest that the effect of telenursing onHb1Ac and self-efficacy of diabetic patients may be effective. Nurses can make plansand carry out different forms of telenursing according to different conditions of differentpatients, so as to help diabetic patients control their condition.Keywords:Telenursing, HbA1c, self-efficacy, diabetes, self-care theory
