Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The study shows that all types of isomorphism have an impact on the auditing profession with the introduction of the new EU directive. The results indicate that medium-sized firms and their authorized auditors are less affected by coercive isomorphism than larger firms. Instead, the impact comes from mimetic and normative isomorphism through the companies' desire for legitimacy towards stakeholders.
