Title: The key to job satisfaction

Aim: The purpose of this essay is to examine how job satisfaction is influenced bymotivation and leadership.
Method: This survey's method is characterized by a quantitative approach, following adeductive methodology, data were collected through a web-based survey. The survey wasdistributed to a sample consisting of 4218 Swedish real estate agents, from a population of7422. In total, the survey yielded 453 responses. Statistical software JASP was utilized.
Result & Conclusions: The survey shows that Swedish real estate agents experience higherjob satisfaction when motivated by extrinsic factors, specifically identified regulation. Identified regulation is characterized by the individual recognizing the value of performing atask. However, whether leaders employ a transformative or a transactional leadership has nosignificant impact on job satisfaction.
Contribution of the thesis: This survey provides insights into the motivational factors andleadership styles influencing the job satisfaction among Swedish real estate agents. The survey's findings may be practically beneficial for industry leaders by offering guidance oneffective motivation strategies and identifying the most favorable leadership style forenhancing employee job satisfaction.
Suggestions for future research: Further research should focus on investigating leadership,particularly transactional leadership because the results differs from the theory.
