Syftet med min C-uppsats är att studera muslimers uppfattningar om de möjligheter och problem som de ser i att bygga moskéer i dagens Stockholm, Uppsala och Gävle. Jag utgår från följande frågeställningar:

- Hur ser de muslimska representanterna i Stockholm, Uppsala och Gävle på behovet av flera moskéer?

- Vilka möjligheter samt problem ser muslimska ledare i sin region när det gäller utbyggnaden av moskéer?

- Vad innebär ordet moské för de personer som jag intervjuar?
