The purpose of this study was to examine the staff's experience before, during and after a physical move of an entire ward, from one nursing home to another one. This includes both staff and users in the same constellation as before changing location. Two structured group interviews, with staff were carried out. Emerging themes were analyzed in the light of implementation theory. The results show the importance of clear information and good communication regarding the changes, when it comes to the staff's experiences throughout the whole process. They also indicate that a change, in terms of moving an entire ward, can develop the cooperation within the work group and strengthen the perceived cohesion.
