Sammanfattning

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur omvårdnadspersonal inom kommunal äldreomsorg upplever sin organisatoriska och sociala arbetsmiljö efter införande av digitala verksamhetssystem. Med en kvalitativ metod och induktiv tematisk analys av det empiriska materialet från de åtta intervjuerna, framkom i studien ett resultat med två huvudteman: Introduktion digitalt arbetssätt och Upplevelser av det digitala arbetssättet. Sammanfattningsvis vittnade majoriteten av respondenterna att deras organisatoriska och sociala arbetsmiljö var god efter att det hade införts digitala verksamhetssystem. Merparten belyste att de digitala systemen hade gett dem mer struktur, framförhållning och en jämnare arbetsfördelning mellan arbetsuppgifterna och upplevelser av minskad arbetsbelastning då användarvänligheten hos systemen upplevdes goda med att digitala system hanterades i samma enhet. Vilket trots upplevelser av brister under införandet, en misstro till att digitala system skulle vara ett kontrollverktyg, varierade svårigheter att lära sig digitala system, färre naturliga plattformar till kommunikation och upplevelser av stress att tekniken inte fungerade optimalt.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate how nursing staff in municipal elderly care experienced there organizational and social work environment after the introduction of the digital business system. Using a qualitative method and inductive thematic analysis from the empirical material from eight interviews, the study produced two main themes: Introduction to the digital way of working and Experiences of the digital way of working. In summary, the majority of respondents testified that their organisational and social work environment was good after digital business systems had been implemented. The majority highlighted that the digital systems had given them more structure, foresight, and a more even distribution of work between tasks and experiences of reduced workload as the user-friendliness of the systems was perceived to be good with all digital systems being managed in the same unit. This despite experiences of shortcomings during the introduction, a mistrust that the digital systems would be a control tool, varied difficulties in learning digital systems, fewer natural platforms for communication, and experiences of stress that the technology did not work optimally.
