English title: The Impact of Leadership on the Work Environment within Social Services'Individual and Family Care: A Critical Discourse Analysis of Documents on Leadershipwithin Social Services' Individual and Family Care in Malmö.

This study investigates the role of leadership within social services' individual and familycare in Malmö, focusing on how health-promoting leadership is portrayed and maintained inboth private and public sectors. The theoretical framework is based on transformationalleadership theory, emphasizing the significance of leadership in creating a supportive workenvironment. The study employs Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) to explore how languageconstructs and reflects leadership practices across various texts.

Key findings highlight the importance of accessible leaders and a reasonable worker-to-leader ratio for a healthy work environment. In the documents studied, private organizations are found to be more flexible and innovative , while public organizations focus on stabilityand rule compliance. The results underscore the necessity of ongoing professionaldevelopment and support structures to enhance leadership capacity. Recommendations forfuture research include longitudinal studies to track leadership and work environmentevolution over time and comparative analyses across different geographic regions.
