Ett psykologiskt kontrakt är de outtalade förväntningarna och överenskommelser somfinns mellan en arbetstagare och en arbetsgivare. Syftet med studien var att undersökaom det finns ett samband mellan det psykologiska kontraktets uppfyllnad ochapoteksanställdas intention att sluta på arbetsplatsen, samt undersöka eventuellaskillnader i intentionen att sluta mellan privat och offentlig sektor. En digital enkättillämpades där frågorna utgick från en svensk översättning av PSYCONESmätinstrument och en svensk översättning av intention to quit scale. En hierarkiskregressionsanalys (N=42) visade inga signifikanta samband mellan det psykologiskakontraktets uppfyllnad och intentionen att sluta. Inga skillnader mellan privat ochoffentlig sektor kunde heller ses i analysen vad gäller intentionen att sluta. De ickesignifikanta resultaten kan vara en följd av det låga deltagarantalet vilket lyfts idiskussionen tillsammans med förslag på fortsatt forskning. 

A psychological contract is the unspoken expectations and agreements that exist between an employee and an employer. The purpose of the study was to investigate whether there is a relationship between fulfillment of the psychological contract and pharmacy employees' intention to quit the workplace, and to investigate possible differences in the intention to quit between the private and public sectors. A digital questionnaire was applied where the questions were based on a Swedish translation of the PSYCONES measurement instrument and a Swedish translation of the Intention to quit scale. A hierarchical regression analysis (N=42) showed no significant relationship between fulfillment of the psychological contract and intention to quit. No differences between the private and public sectors could be seen in the analysis regarding the intention to quit. The non-significant results may be a consequence of the low number of participants, which is raised in the discussion along with suggestions for continued research.
