Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The study aimed to investigate whether and how the perception of Employer Attractiveness differs between younger and older individuals based on five dimensions: economic, social, innovation, development and application value. Data were collected via a digital questionnaire based on the Swedish translation of the Employer Attractiveness Scale (EmpAt). The questionnaire was answered by 52 people and data analyzed using MANOVA and ANOVA. The results showed no significant differences between the age groups in the perception of Employer Attractiveness. However, differences emerged within each age group in which dimensions were valued most highly. Younger participants rated social value higher than other dimensions, they also rated economic value higher than innovation value, while older participants rated social value significant higher than application value. In summary, the results from MANOVA indicate that employer attractiveness is experienced similarly between age groups, but that the dimensions are valued differently within the groups, with social value considered most important for both age groups.
