Abstract [en]

The local food sector is embracing digital platforms as one of the supply chain configurations to enhance supply chain efficiency. Since digital platform-based local food supply chains are a nascent phenomenon, there is a dearth of research exploring their critical success factors (CSFs). We have bridged the gap by identifying 12 CSFs, grouped into 4 overarching factors, through a cross-case analysis of 5 cases. We contribute to the literature by proposing the first framework of CSFs. Practitioners can use this framework to develop and manage such supply chain platforms.
